The word "compact" could have been coined specially for our waste compactors. A KenBay Rotorpac waste compactor takes up little more space than a standard wooden pallet, yet amazingly can compact the entire contents of a waste skip into one polythene wastebag. A compacting ratio of 6:1!
Because it is so compact, the waste compactor can be sited conveniently at the very source of waste, such as the factory floor - no more time and effort spent hauling refuse from factory to outside skips.
Many different kinds of refuse can be processed including wet and dry waste, tins, glass and broken pallets.
KenBay Rotorpac waste compactors are extremely powerful. The waste-crushing rotating rotor arm has a minimum downward pressure of 80 kgs and the torque at the compactor drum face is 2004 kgs.
Even with this power the Rotorpac is safe to be used by workers without special training. Built-in safety features include: emergency stop button, mains isolator, motoroverload protection, interlocked access doors "fail to safe" and water resistance to IP65 (hose down).
Some waste compactors can leave a mess in their wake. With a Kenbay Rotorpac the finished "product" is a clean, heavy polythene bag which can be hygienically sealed with any packaging tape. Even if the Rotorpac is processing wet or damp waste such as foodstuffs, there are no spills and no sticky trails to attract dust, grime and bacteria.
